Ralph Humphrey’s Drum Clinic Tour in Germany

If you’ve never seen a drum clinic with LAMA’s honorable Drum Department Chair Ralph Humphrey, it’s a real treat for the mind and ears! Ask any of our drum students about the studio great and former Zappa drummer and you’ll see why. He’s currently touring Germany including Drumweek in Berlin for a variety of drum clinics through August 8th! Remaining dates and locations include:

• August 5th – Beathouse, Cologne, GERMANY

• August 6th – Kulturzentrum Schlachhof, Kassel, GERMANY 

• August 7th – Hamburg School of Music, Hamburg, GERMANY 

• August 8th – Music College Hannover, Hannover, GERMANY

LAMA Experience Visits 16 European Cities

If you have been following along here for the last couple years you have probably heard us mention LAMA experience, an ongoing series of interactive clinics, workshops and concerts hosted around the world in collaboration with LAMA College for Music Professionals, its partners and alumni. Attendees have the opportunity to audition for admission and apply for a scholarship to LAMA (www.lama.edu). Most importantly, they will see what it’s like to learn at a music college in Los Angeles and get an inside look at the various Music Performance and Music Producer degree programs offered by LAMA.

Are You LAMA Experienced?

Sometimes musicians can’t get to us, so we go to them. Introducing, the LAMA Experience.

Launched in 2011, the LA Music Academy Experience is an ongoing series of interactive clinics, workshops and concerts hosted around the world in collaboration with LA Music Academy and its alumni. Attendees will have an opportunity to audition for admission and apply for a scholarship to LA Music Academy. Most importantly, they will see what it’s like to learn at a premier music college in Los Angeles and get an inside look at the various music degree programs offered by LA Music Academy. So far, the LA Music Academy Experience is scheduled to visit Germany, Sweden, Ecuador, Brazil, UK, Australia, Argentina and Korea, with trips to England and Denmark coming early in 2012!
